Bio: Anna holds a strong scientific background attained by an extended international academic curriculum focusing on oceanography, marine mammal ecology and conservation science. Over the last 15 years, she acquired considerable experience in designing and conducting large research projects with successful scientific and conservation outcomes. She also has extended experience leading and contributing to data analysis including spatial and temporal distribution of marine mammal species. In her current role, Anna is leading the NZ Marine Geospatial Information Programme for which she focuses on increasing the value of marine geospatial investments, providing technical advice internally and externally on marine geospatial related projects, facilitate national collaboration through partnerships and stakeholder collaboration in the public and private sectors.
