Bio: My goal is to embolden people to make socially responsible decisions to ensure they understand that their environmental, economic and social choices have an impact now, and in the future. My work has included presenting thorough, robust and to the point expert planning evidence before Council hearing panels, preparing numerous Assessments of Environmental Effects ('AEEs') reports, developing and drafting effective policy frameworks for local Government, and working as an efficient resource consent decision-maker for both Regional and District Councils. I believe my strength lies in my ability to engage effectively with my target audience, either in person or on paper. Whether involved in project management discussions, public consultation events or presenting at Council hearings, my proactive approach promotes the story required. Most importantly, I have a passion to see our environment managed in a sustainable way, as I love to spend as much time outdoors as possible, either in the surf or on the mountain bike trails.
