Bio: Originally from coastal California, Jessica grew up with a love and appreciation for the coastal environment. She has a Bachelor’s degree from University of California Santa Barbara and a master’s degree from the University of Waikato. Her master’s research focussed on the morphology of Zostera muelleri. Jessica is an Environmental Scientist at Beca, based in their Christchurch office. She is interested in, and passionate about, coastal hazard assessments and nature-based solutions for coastal adaptation.
