Bio: I joined Streamlined Environmental Ltd in 2016, where I am now a Director and partner. Previously, I was Principal Scientist for Coasts and Estuaries at NIWA, based in Hamilton. Recent projects at SEL have included leading the Kaipara Harbour Sediment Mitigation Study, science writer for the Hauraki Gulf marine spatial plan, reviewing ecological thresholds for WRC for use in developing water quality standards, working on the technical advisory group assisting the implementation of the NPSFM in Porirua Harbour / catchment, and preparing an extensive review of contaminants in NZ estuaries for DairyNZ. I am an accredited RMA Decision Maker and recently served as an Independent Commisioner on a panel hearing an application by Port of Napier for resource consents for dredging and wharf construction.
