Bio: Environmental Engineer, PhD Researcher, and Eco-Entrepreneur with over a decade of international experience in environmental planning and conservation in coastal areas. My work focuses on increasing resilience and sustainability through nature conservation and restoration, striving to reestablish the unicity between natural and social elements. More recently, I delve into the implementation of nature-based solutions and water-sensitive urban design as means to transform the relation between urban fabric and the natural environment. I lead multidisciplinary projects integrating ecology, engineering, and social sciences across Brazil’s and Aotearoa New Zealand. With a strong foundation in both consultancy and academia, I translate scientific complexity into practical outcomes.
