Bio: Canadian-born, Kiwi-adopted, I have always had a passion and affinity for wildlife and marine ecosystems. I completed my BSc Hons at the University of Saskatchewan where I did fieldwork at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Center studying nudibranchs and the effects of ocean acidification on their ability to undergo operant conditioning. I finished my BVSc at Massey, and have just started a MVSc, with a thesis topic based on the NZ sea lion populations in the Subantarctics. I also help with several other research projects on NZ pinnipeds and penguins while I study.
