Conference Field Trips

Three conference field trips are being formed

1. Eastern Explorer to Uawa - Tolaga Bay

A trip north along the coast to Tolaga Bay. This trip will look at areas affected by the 1947 tsunamis as well as issues related to the recent deposition of forestry slash on the beaches.

2. Tūranganui a Kiwa - Inner Harbour Adventure

A trip to the Eastland Port and contaminated sites Waikanae stream.

3. Te Kuri o Pāoa - trip to Young Nick's Head

A road trip south to Te Wherowhero and Young Nick's Head.
