Bio: Adam’s role at Waikato Regional Council (WRC) is Manager, Flood Protection and Land Drainage, which forms part of the Integrated Catchment Management (ICM) directorate senior leadership team. His role primarily oversees the delivery of Council’s flood protection and land drainage work programmes including river and coastal flood protection. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth Sciences, a Master’s of Science (Hons) degree in Earth and Biological Sciences and a Post Grad Certificate in Management Studies, all attained from the University of Waikato. He has been employed by WRC for over 20 years undertaking various roles including natural hazards management, zone management, marine oil response and emergency management and civil defence.
