Bio: Allan Young has a distinguished career spanning decades in planning and public policy in government and the private sector. Allan is acknowledged as a pre-eminent specialist in land use planning and natural resource management. He has experience in all aspects of urban and regional planning - he has created planning laws and policies within government; he has been the leader of a consent authority; and has acted for clients proposing development. He has applied innovative and highly practical approaches to a wide range of projects locally and internationally. His clients include commercial and industrial companies, private developers, all levels of government and the not-for-profit sector. Allan has a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, Sydney University. His many awards include a Fulbright Scholarship (NYC Mayor's Office; Harvard; MIT in 2013) and a Churchill Fellowship (USA, Caribbean and UK in 2017)
