Bio: Since 2001 Scott has worked at NIWA undertaking a variety of environmental research and commercial work including projects combining large-scale instrument deployments and numerical modelling. He is experienced in the areas of wave and sea-level analysis and modelling, extreme-value and joint-probability statistical techniques, and hydrodynamic and particle-tracking modelling. Scott is a co-author of the 2017 national coastal hazards and climate change guidance for local government in New Zealand.
