Service Leader — Coastal
Bio: Shari (Ngāti Maru, Te Rarawa) is a coastal scientist with national and international experience in coastal climate change impacts and hazards, climate change adaptation, coastal processes, and te ao Māori. Her ability to combine these skills is invaluable across various commercial/research projects and advising for a broad variety of clients. She is an experienced and engaging communicator, with have a wealth of wānanga, teaching and media experience. She co-leads Te Komiti Māori in the New Zealand Coastal Society. Shari has 10+ years of previous experience undertaking research in Australia, UK, and New Zealand-based universities. In her current role in Pattle Delamore Partners (PDP) as Service Leader — Coastal, Shari continues to engage in research including postgraduate student supervision.
