Bio: Susan has eleven years’ experience as an Environmental Scientist, based in New Zealand and South East Asia. She is specialised in Marine Ecology and Restoration, with a wider range of experience in environmental assessment, management and planning. She has worked previously as project manager for a variety of marine, coastal and stream assessment projects in the Auckland region and New Zealand, producing technical outputs and writing Ecological Impact Assessments to inform Assessments of Environmental Effects (AEE) and resource consent applications. She is experienced in marine surveys, including intertidal investigations and coastal avifauna assessment. She has a sound working knowledge of the Resource Management Act and local government legislation, including application of the mitigation hierarchy.
