Environmental Scientist

Bio: I joined the Taranaki Regional Council as an Environmental Scientist in 2018. My main responsibilities at TRC include managing a number of coastal state of the environment and consent monitoring programmes, and providing advice on coastal matters. I had previously worked at TRC as a Technical Officer for two years, gaining experience with a wide variety of field work, before heading overseas to travel. Within the coastal space, my background is in marine ecology; having graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 2014 with a Masters in Marine Conservation. I actually grew up in Taranaki, so I haven’t flown too far from the nest!
