Bio: Eduardo Gomez is currently a second year Ph.D. candidate working under the supervision of Professor Giovanni Coco in the School of Environment, at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His doctoral research explores new approaches to model future shoreline change. His research is currently focused on the application of Deep Learning algorithms for coastal time-series prediction. He holds a M.Sc. in Coastal modeling (Cum Laude) and a B.Sc. in Earth Sciences both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. His research is supported by the University of Auckland.
