Bio: As a doctoral student at Massey University, Wellington, and a former senior software Engineer, I specialise in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to solve complex problems. My current research at the CRISiSLab, Joint Centre for Disaster Research, Massey University focuses on developing AI-driven models for rapid flood inundation and impact forecasting, contributing to more effective disaster response systems in New Zealand. With a solid background in software engineering and a passion for applying technology to real-world problems, my work bridges the gap between advanced DL algorithms and their practical applications.
